ASERWAD is non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, and non-religious organization established by the group of gross-root development professionals in the year 1991 providing services through community participation of the needy Dalith, tribal, rural and urban communities by delivering various developmental programs on women & children, health, education, empowerment and youth development, infrastructure development, land development, horticulture, agriculture, child centered rights based activities etc.
The Chief Functionary
Mr.J.S.Singh is the president and chief functionary of the organisation is a young and dynamic social worker and the chief promoter of the organisation.A well educated and dedicated in his service to the Slum and tribal and weaker sections has earned a niche for him in the area of operation.His dedicated and relentless services made him a popular personality in the operational area of the organisation.He is dedicated his life for the promotion of brotherhood among the communities and development of weaker sections in the society.
Deriving his strength from the faithfulness to society and dedicated service, rendered while in government sector, made him a person of good intentions and effortless service to the society.
Operational area
The organisation is currently located its services in tribal and rural areas of Vishakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam districts of AP and boarder Mandals of Andhra Odissa.
Aims and Methodology
The objective of ASERWAD is developing need-based and replicable development models with respect to amelioration of Dalith, Adivasi, Children and people affected by natural calamities for sustainable development through community’s ownership.
The objective is to promote self-help to cater to their own needs, infrastructure and social capital facilitating the people to orient towards justices, ownership on resources in a secular result oriented system.
Provide a platform to enhance the rights and dignity of children, women and marginal sections and in this respect the protection, promotion, rehabilitation and augmenting the participation of the priority sections of children, Dalith and women.
Make the target communities enjoy the access to rights, ownership of the resources, fruits of the produce and enjoy all the civic amenities that are available to the members of the society.
Promote awareness generation, participation, collaboration, networking, and liaison with various national, regional and local stakeholders, civil society and Govt. agencies.
